I can't draw or paint worth shit, but I can learn software quick and love writing. I've got a Canon AE-1 35mm SLR, but I haven't used it much since purchase and I truthfully am not sure if I know how to use it correctly. Right now I'm learning to play the guitar on my own, as most things I do are done.
Film is my big interest. I graduated the FMU film program, not that it helped with much, but I now know screenplay format which really opens things up as a writer since long form graphic works like comics are written in a very similar format as well.
I wouldn't mind hanging out talking shop with you guys. Just let me know and I'll most likely be able to make it.
